My Holy Grail Mascara - it is Perfection!
Length, volume, stays all day!
This is my all time favorite mascara for years now. While it has a thinner brush, and I usually prefer a big teddy bear brush, this formula is great, and now I love the thin brush for precision. I find it both lengthening and volumizing (buildable with multiple coats) but most of all, it’s the only mascara that STAYS ON without fading, disappearing or flaking on me throughout the day or night, even though I have hooded eyes.
Layer Up for Drama
I love that you can add layers without it clumping or feeling spiky, I absolutely hate formulas that make my lashes feel hard and spiky. Oh, it is also a wetter kind of formula, which I prefer. I have repurchased again and again and basically do not buy other mascaras anymore because every time I try another one, this one outperforms anything else.
Removes without Tugging
Finally, this one removes relatively easily with cleansing, without needing to use a waterproof eye makeup remover prior to cleansing. I remember when I first received this mascara as a gratis from Benefit when I was working part-time at Sephora. I still have the great packaging they sent it in - floating in a cloud of star shaped black, silver and purple confetti. Brilliant! Little did I know then that I would find such a great formula and re-purchase again and again for years, and extol its virtues whenever anyone is seeking a mascara recommendation!
