Great long lasting, lengthening, defining mascara.
I received a decent sized sample of this with my Sephora order and I was very pleasantly surprised, since I am generally very skeptical about mascaras and don’t often find formulas that work great and last for me (except for my favorite of all time Benefit Badgal Bang, and some waterproof formulas.
I found this mascara to be lengthening more than volumizing, but it is very defining, applies cleanly with no smudging or clumping whatsoever, and is a nice dark black. The brush is thinner and soft, with a tapered point that makes it easy to apply to inner corners. The brush is not spiky (I hate ones that feel spiky against your eyelid).
After applying, I do feel that lashes are slightly stiff, but not bothersome (I hate when mascaras make your lashes very stiff to the touch.) Finally, it lasted at least 13 hours on me without flaking or smudging or disappearing off the tips of my lashes which tends to happen with some others. The Gucci products are a little pricey but I’ve been really happy with everything I’ve tried. While this isn’t an exceptionally volumizing mascara, I would purchase this in the future when I use up some I already have.
