Hello beauties! I am beyond excited to share my experience unboxing the Sephora Beauty Insider Community Summer Haircare & Hairstyle Gratis Box, a special treat I received as a Sephora Community Ambassador. This box is a beauty lover's dream, especially for someone with a lot of hair, like me!
Sephora Summer Haircare & Hairstyle Unboxing
As I opened the Sephora-themed polka-dot box, I was greeted with a delightful array of Sephora swag and six amazing products for summer (and year-round) hair. From hair care essentials to styling products, every item was carefully curated, as these boxes already are, to elevate a summer beauty hair routine. I loved that it came with this super cute travel bag with my initials on it. Everything fits right in there, and there was also some super cute Sephora swag.

I already loved the Kerastase Elixir Ultime original, and I already bought the new travel size, so I’m thrilled to have the new refillable full size as well. This iconic hair oil is a luxurious hair treatment. With its new and improved formula now refillable, it’s designed to smooth frizz, enhance shine, and provide heat protection. Its key ingredient, wild camellia, adds a touch of resilience and nourishment. I can use this everyday and it never impacts my hair style, adding smoothness and shine. I usually add some at night and throughout the day if I need some shine.
This gave me Mermaid Hair! An exciting addition from DAE, this 3-in-1 styling cream promises to smooth, define, and add shine to hair. Its key ingredients include dragon fruit and prickly pear seed oil, which are great for locking in moisture and adding a healthy luster to your hair. I had a chance to try this on my long, wavy hair, and I was really impressed. It gave some extra definition to my wavy hair that’s gotten long and needs a haircut. I think I might use a touch more next time. This is how it looked after applying to damp hair and just letting it air dry. It felt soft and not sticky. And it smells amazing, relatively strong and fruity but not necessarily noticeable after application.
This Hairspray has that Moroccanoil signature scent, and is infused with argan oil and designed to fight frizz, maintain hold, and boost shine. It should be perfect for keeping up-dos in place, holding style, and taming flyaways.
This sleek stick from Briogeo is perfect for taming flyaways and achieving a polished look. It offers a frizz-free finish and 24-hour hold, thanks to its nourishing blend of yuzu extract, plum oil, and a super B-complex. I got to use this stick and found it to work really well on my flyaways - I am always putting my hair up and always have a lot of frizz and flyaways around my crown and the nape of the neck. The hold lasted several hours for me before a few flyaways started popping back out. Also, I would probably only use this the day before I'm going to I could see this working really nicely to smooth braids, too!
This innovative volumizer uses a proprietary polymer complex to thicken hair without damaging the cuticle. It’s ideal for giving your hair that extra oomph, leaving it looking thick, healthy, and vibrant. I tried this a few nights ago and had originally planned to heat style but I ran out of time, so I ended up air drying and going to sleep without styling. Then this morning, I just had to put it up in a bun to keep it out of my face all day. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I finally took it down this evening! It felt soft but definitely more voluminous than air drying on my own. You can see the difference in waves though compared to the dae styling cream I posted below. This smoothed out my waves considerably. Anyway, I look forward to trying again and actually heat styling my hair!
Last but not least, this finishing spray from Amika is perfect for adding that final touch of volume and hold to your style, ensuring your hair looks great from day to night.

First Impressions and Expectations
While I haven’t had the chance to fully try out each product, my initial impressions based on their textures and scents are overwhelmingly positive. I am particularly excited to see how the volumizing products work on my long hair. The Moroccan oil hairspray and DAE styling cream already stand out due to their amazing scents and promising features.
